Happy Friday, and Happy June everyone!
Did you know June is Pride Month? I can't wait to go to the pride festivals this month! In honor of this, I wanted to share this wedding, which is probably the prettiest wedding I've seen. I just had to share it in my post today! This post is a bit of a grab-bag, but I adore the colors in the lingerie, and that salted caramel ice cream is to die for!

When Jess of Avant-Garde Living contacted me and asked me to participate in her virtual May Birthday Party Link-Up, I was so excited!

I decided to create a moodboard of my ultimate May birthday party...a Garden Party! How fitting is that for May? We would all wear cute florals, have on fabulous accessories & sip the prettiest drinks (that sangria will be made this weekend...:P)
I've never had one before, but after writing up this post I feel like I should start planning ahead for next year ;)

I hope everyone is having fabulous Memorial Day weekends! I took the warm weather as a cue to have a beach day...the first proper one of the season! I started reading A Feast for Crows, the 4th book in the Game of Thrones Series, and I'm obsessed. Anyone else reading/watching this show?

I also got this suit at Target a few days ago...I'm in love with it! Anything polka dots, and count me in ;)

Today's "Happy Friday" post is a little different...if you didn't know, today is Towel Day, in honor of Douglas Adams, my favorite author (he wrote The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which pretty much changed my life).

In honor of him and Towel Day, I've created a little illustration! I made one last year too, you can see it right here :)

This illustration of mine is probably my most popular, it's made it's way around the internet and back, and it features one of my favorite quotes from Douglas Adams. It's still one of my favorite illustrations I've made.

Any other Douglas Adams fans out there? And more importantly...do you know where your towel is? ;)

Amy Borrell of has amazing illustrations. I've been really interested in patterns lately (as you can see from my pinterest), and Amy's are so soft and feminine, and I love the hand-drawn aspect of them.

This little grassy patch of ground is only a few houses down...and I never knew it existed! It's perfect for taking photos :) These were snapped one day after work...basically, this is a typical work outfit for me.

This skirt is probably my favorite. The pattern is really unique, and it's the most comfortable item in my wardrobe. I was lucky enough to snag it a few years ago from H^M for only $5! It's turned into a wardrobe staple.

I'm making a goofy face here, but I feel like my hair is getting so long! I'm still debating cutting it back to the original bob, or letting it keep growing. Dilema!

According to the designers Pier Paolo Piccioli & Maria Grazia Chiuri, the collection is:

Well, this weekend came and went in a flash! It was full of friends, food, and SUN. I seriously couldn't have had a better weekend :)

My roommate Sam made me delicious pretty cupcakes & got me this bracelet, and my friend Anthony got me a super cool design book that can be turned into wrapping paper when you're done! I also treated myself to some Knot & Bow stickers ;)

I spent a lot of time in the sun, both at the park & at the beach. Definitely needed, as I sit at my computer all day!

Well, it looks like we're back to Monday again! I hope you all had great Cinco de Mayo (or Derby-themed) weekends!
The block party I mentioned in my last post was super fun, despite the grey weather. There were good margaritas, good tacos, and fun masks. What more could you want?

The weather was so beautiful this weekend...even though it was a little chilly I'm so glad the sun was shining. I so wish weekends were longer.

Saturday I went to my favorite park with a few friends, and one of them has just the most adorable son, Julian. Just look at how precious he is!!! :) I love getting to hang out with him.

Why have I only now just discovered Lovely Stationery? Anyway, these two projects caught my eye especially...Dare to Care Records, Burn that Book & Mei Yen Chua. I've never been a fan of red in general, but these two cards use the color beautifully.
